- First thing first you leave your name on the bottom of one of the host sites , (Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read using the linky tools — keep scrolling!)
- then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and
- then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
Hi Debbie! First, thanks so much for following! I'm following you back via GFC!
ReplyDeleteOk, if you follow Parajunkee Views on Facebook, she will often post that week's question/activity on Wednesday or Thursday to give you some time to work on the post. I just found that out a few months ago after I liked her FB page. It's been great to get it a little early so I have some time to work up my answer.
If you don't check FB, then you have to wait until the FF post goes live on the Parajunkee or Alison Can Read sites when you sign up for the Linky. Those posts go live on Thursdays at 9:00 Central Time (which is my time zone, so if you're in a different time zone you'll have to figure what that time is for you). The weekly question is right after that week's Featured Blog Q&A. If I miss the heads up, then I'll sign up on the linky and then go back and prepare my post answer.
Hope that helped you! ~Traci @ Mad Hatter Reads
Hi Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI was about to say the same as Traci :D There's a different question every week to be answered in blog posts as a way to "connect" :D Thanks so much for following me! I'm honoured. I've looked through your blog and I love it soo I'm a new follower via GFC!
Cheers! (Happy Reading!)
