So I have been asked time and time again why i even bother to write a blog when there is no one really following it. Well the truth is I don't know. Do I like that I have one follower. NO but would i give up writing reviewes NEVER. Even if I only have one follower for the hole of my blogging experiences I will still write for them ..... who every you are that decided to follow my Blog. Why do I bother ?
So I have been asked time and time again why i even bother to write a blog when there is no one really following it. Well the truth is I don't know. Do I like that I have one follower. NO but would i give up writing reviewes NEVER. Even if I only have one follower for the hole of my blogging experiences I will still write for them ..... who every you are that decided to follow my Blog. Thank You and this Blog is Dedicated to you ........

ReplyDeleteAs for your post above, and speaking as someone whose blog is only a week old...don't give up! I hope to gain more followers, too, but right now, I'm just looking at it from the stance that I'm writing for myself. Of course, I hope that changes!
If I may offer advice (and since I've been blogging for even less than time than you, you can take this for what it's worth), it would be to get on Twitter. (I'm assuming you're not, since I don't see a link.) Post all of your reviews, and if it's a positive one, link it to the author and/or publisher who may retweet it.
I'm also going to try hosting a giveaway soon.

I think we have a blog and write reviews because we like it! I don't care if nobody is following me. BUT, if we don't know your blog is out there... how are we going to read it? If you leave messages in other people's blogs (not saying that you don't) they will come back to you and leave a message or two too (well, most of them)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I veer away from blogs that ask for word verification; I find it to frustrating to have to make 3 three attempts at posting a comment :-)
I like your clear layout.
I sometimes feel the same way, but over time we'll gain more followers! We just need to continue blogging because it is something we enjoy doing.

DeleteYou're getting lots of followers now!! Keep it up, I was like you when I first started, thinking that I would get no followers, but you would be surprised that you start to get regulars....
