So glad you are finally getting the book! A year is a long time when you love some characters.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy reading this one when it comes out. I'm not familiar with the previous books in the series but I've heard great things about them and I really hope this one is what you expect it to be. Great pick!

Oh my! I feel your pain! It wasn't with this one, but I read and adored one series where the 4th book ended on the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. I waited a few months, since the books were just months apart. I waited a year. About 18 months in or so I panicked and wrote to one of the authors and she said the series had been canceled!!! World shattering, very much!
ReplyDeleteThen I think it was in 08 or 09, like 5-6 years later, the publishers decided to pick it up again!! I was elated!!!
Of course now I am in a stint over another series entirely that has yet to have any information released on the final book--it's not canceled, I know that much--but there's still nothing as to when the book might release and it's driving me bonkers!
So I feel your pain on the waiting and I know the joy you feel about the book coming out soon! Very happy for you!! Hope it will be everything you're hoping for!
